The Story:

A group of friends on their way to a college football game falls prey to a pair of murderous brothers in an abandoned small town. They discover that the brothers have expanded upon the area's main attraction - the House of Wax - and created an entire town filled with the wax-coated corpses of unlucky visitors. Now the group must find a way out before they too become permanent exhibits in the House of Wax.


Review:

Warner Brothers have based their promotion campaign for the movie ``House of Wax`` basically on Paris Hilton which by that way has a secondary role. All this is because Paris is the celebrity of the film and her famous tapes have made her famous all over the globe. This is I think the first time you're actually being asked to pay to gape at the hotel-heiress swizzle stick who already pops up everywhere — TV shows, parties, and film festivals — at no cost. Many people I think (my self included!) would even pay $10 just to make her stay at home for an evening.

The movie is a remake of the 1953 film starring Vincent Price.

The film's story, if one even exists, centers around a group of six youngsters on a road trip to a football game which is by the way the biggest of the season

At the beginning of the film it tells us that two young brothers were raised by a wax sculptor and a medieval doctor (a what?); routinely abused and often strapped into harnessing highchairs when they cried or did anything that normal boys do. And thus the film explain us why the boys became unstable and did all the things they did.

While the gang was driving to the game a detour sends them down an unknown road, and the youngsters decide to camp out for the night cause the game will be held the next day. So…. they magically take out their tents (everyone who goes to a football game has its own tent and if you don't well you should!!!) and set camp out in the clean air.

When the gang awakens the next morning they find the fan belt in one of the cars slashed to pieces, and head into an abandoned town found on no map other than the electric company's, and seek out an auto repair shop. What they find is an old church and a House of Wax that just looks too irresistible to pass by.

After that, the film follows the classic thriller recipe with the blood feast and all the extras. Thank God after a while Paris Hilton dies and at least we are on bad actor less! I will not comment any further cause I believe there are no words to describe what will come next. Watch and learn.

I forgot to say acting is horrible and I cant wait to see for how many Razzies the film will be nominated for.
